High Level Throwing: Half Kneeling Throw & Turn Drill

Posted by austin-wasserman | 20 April 2018 | Experts & Champions,Technical

ONE Softball is committed to bringing you technical information that is factual and modeled by what the best players actually do. We will periodically bring you short videos that show throwing biomechanics, drills, and tips.

The half kneeling turn and throw is a great way for an athlete to feel resistance or separation between the hips and trunk/torso. You can think of this drill as a hip to shoulder separation drills. It also helps athletes understand the timing of when the throwing arm should work back into load as the stride occurs! Great drill for all ages!
